Age and multiple sclerosis

I was selected in 2023 to do the 12 covers of the year for The Lancet Neurology. This is the January illustration cover about a paper on the age and multiple sclerosis.
Chronological age is the most relevant factor in multiple sclerosis. Younger patients suffer exclusively from relapsing remitting disease, while those who present later in life face a more rapid development of permanent disability.
