The Ages of Time

Text accompanying the piece:
“From the beginning, time was kept in amphorae.
It is only at the end, when there is hardly any water left at the bottom,
that gold is glimpsed from the mud and sludge.
Little gold nuggets glitter.
They hold the eternal, lived in that time.
When this gold is recognised by the navigator
is when the Lady who guards the Mystery
receives the order to overturn the water of a New Time.
The foundations of the past are shaken.
The mesh of the present is broken.
A new life is emerging”.

Work inspired by the time.
Linotype stamped in two inks (stamping of two plates).
Limited series of 7 pieces.
Each copy is individually stamped.

Texto que acompaña la obra:
“Desde el principio el tiempo fue custodiado en ánforas.
Es solo al final, cuando apenas queda agua en el fondo,
cuando se vislumbra el oro de entre el barro y el lodo.
Pequeñas pepitas relucen.
Guardan lo eterno, vivido en aquel tiempo.
Cuando ese oro es reconocido por el navegante
es cuando la Dama que guarda el Misterio
recibe la orden de volcar el agua de un Nuevo Tiempo.
Tambalean los cimientos del pasado.
Se quiebra la malla del presente.
Una nueva vida está emergiendo”.
